I always hear of people saying to use protein supplements prior to workouts, maybe like 30 min before but more and more people are recommending to use them either first thing in the AM or post workouts. I don't understand using them post workout, what benefit is there with that? I just want to make sure I get the most out of supplementing if I am going to do it.
As far as I know and have been told, post work-out is best. You want to drink it between 30 and 60 min post work-out. This will not only help with recovery but help with gains. I have asked this question so many times and everyone always says just about the same answer.
