I started doing kettlebell training and tbh I am not sure if I am doing the form right. I ended up hurting my back last week and my friend said it was probably do to form issues. I am not so sure as I have always had back issues. How can I know for sure my form is good?
I make use of mirrors. They are your best friend when correcting form and posture. With kettlebells it can be a bit tricky and you may need someone to spot your form until you get a feel for it. I find that most gyms and fitness centers now have people that are familiar enough with them, you should be able to find someone that can help.
You can also record yourself and play it back to see how it compares to proper form on YouTube. There are plenty of videos for at-home sessions.
I'll have to pick up a cheep body mirror. I don't have a full length one to use but I could see how that would be helpful. I have been wondering if my form was off. This sounds like it can help me see what I am doing better.
