I wasn't sure if it would be enough or not. I didn't change anything else. I just started walking 60 to 90 minutes every day. I know this is considered low-intensity cardio but it seemed to have helped me. I have only been at it a month and I am looking better and feeling better. I just have to work on muscle and and fix my diet. I am sure if I don't change anything else, it will likely stop and I will get stuck not losing more.
A lot of people end up surprised when they lose weight from walking. I believe the reason why it works for so many people is that it is a low-intense enough activity to not cause them to increase their calorie intake but enough of an exercise to burn calories over time which results in sustainable weight loss.
