I am looking at beef bone broth powder. It has a lot of protein as well as collagen. It seems to support recovery and bone health which is an added bonus. I think doing a concentrated shot of this would be good on days I need an extra boost of protein. I am just not sure how these taste or how good they are. I never had bone broth powder. Anyone here give it a go?
So something interesting I learned about bone broth is that it does provide amino acids that are amazing for recovery as well as building muscle. I use it from time to time in recipes just for an added bit of nutrition but I have never been able to stomach it as a drink. I know some people do drink it straight but it is too strong for me.
When I do use it more often as part of my diet, I notice less soreness and feeling stiff after work-outs. I usually will feel sore for 2 days but it cuts it down to one which is nice.
I just wish I enjoyed it more as I don't always make food that I can incorporate it into.
