I want to ask from people with experience in tracking macros.
Are these good baselines for each benefit/outcome:
- Fat Loss (Recommended): 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat
- Muscle Gain: Higher carbs (40–50%), 30–35% protein, 25–30% fat
- General Health: 30–35% protein, 40–50% carbs, 20–30% fat
To me it seems like it would be right but I am just not entirely sure. I figured the carbs were a bit high.
I focused a lot on this and it sounds about right to me. I don't focus so much on it now as I have gotten my body to where I want it and just focus on maintaining my form.
