It seems like most meal replacement shakes offer protein in the form of whey but it is less concentrated so you get less but you end up getting more nutrition since they are loaded with vitamins and minerals. I would prefer to just replace two of my meals with shakes at this point but I find that my whey mix isn't filling enough to make it through the day (breakfast and lunch) so I am looking into this as an option.
What are the downsides of switching away from whey to replacement shakes?
I was looking into this a few weeks ago. The biggest complaint I saw was that people had digestive issues with them more so than with whey. I think this has to do with them using different ingredients and trying to pack some nutrition in them. They seem to be only best for people that are struggling to keep food down imo.
