Posting Rules

By using ProteinHype, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply may result in warnings, post removal, or account suspension.
1. Keep Content Appropriate
Do not post content that is:
- Vulgar, graphic, pornographic, or sexually explicit
- Offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
- Threatening or invasive of privacy
- Illegal or promoting illegal activities
Consequences: Posts that break these rules will be removed, and warnings or account action may be taken.
2. No Swearing or Abusive Language
Use appropriate language to make your point. Posts with swearing or disguised swearing may be edited or removed.
3. Respect Others
Do not personally attack, bully, troll, or harass other members. Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
4. Posting Etiquette
- Post in the correct forum
- Use descriptive and relevant thread titles
- Avoid necro-posting (bumping old threads without reason)
- Avoid typing in all caps, spam, or irrelevant advertising
- Only post in English
5. Private Messages
Do not send unsolicited messages asking for goods, services, or support unless the recipient has clearly consented.
6. Profile Rules
- Signatures: max 2 images (500px wide x 100px high), max 5 lines of text, no GIFs, no referral links
- Avatars: max 100x100px, max 10 KB
- Custom titles: must not stretch the layout
- Usernames: cannot be URLs or excessively long
7. New Users
- Minimum posts to edit profile: 3
- Minimum posts to send PMs: 5
- Minimum posts to attach files: 3
- Minimum posts to post links: 5
8. Accounts & Reputation
- No duplicate accounts – violations may result in banning all accounts
- Reputation comments must not violate content rules or be personal attacks
9. Respect Moderators
- Moderators have final discretion in enforcing these rules
- Do not challenge moderation publicly; contact staff via private message or the contact page
10. Reporting
If you see content that breaks the rules, use the reporting system to alert moderators.
