<p>As little as one week. Not even kidding! In terms of muscle, that will take time to see but you will notice improved posture, energy levels, better movement and control of your body, and you may even notice you are breathing better. This can all be seen in as little as 1 week but for most is is 2 to 4 weeks. </p>
<p></p>
<p>That is not the answer I was expecting. I haven't really seen any changes as I mentioned. Maybe it is down to bad form or not doing it enough? Maybe I need a heavier bell? </p>

<p>What are your goals? Which muscle groups do you want to work on the most? </p>
<p>You can do body-weight exercises for a lot of them when first starting out. If you want to focus on arms, chest, and back then I would first invest in a good set of hand weights. You really can't go wrong with that. This is where most people start. They sell compact systems that you can adjust the weight for as you make progress too. </p>

I would prefer to just replace two of my meals with shakes at this point but I find that my whey mix isn't filling enough to make it through the day (breakfast and lunch) so I am looking into this as an option.</p>
